With over 30 years of experience, we provide basic and detailed drawings for your projects to ensure they meet all requirements for construction and approval. We offer a wide range of services to meet your building approval. Ours services include design drafting. Residential – New builds, extensions and renovations, patios, decks, carport, sheds, unapproved structures, relocatable buildings, house raising, etc. Commercial – Offices, restaurants, factory layout, mezzanines, etc.

Design
Our goal is to make your entire building completion one smooth process. Our drawings are done in a highly organized and practical manner with attention to customer understanding and interpretation. We follow a unique 5 phase design method:
- Customers are provided with a concept. From their initial sketch we provide customers with a blank outline of the building – basic floor plan.
- This gives customers a better understanding of space and orientation, which they mark up and forward back to us.
- Final drawings are prepared using the new sketch.
- After the final drawings, customers are welcome to make changes during construction e.g room sizes, windows.
- Prior to final inspection Drafting Redland Bay will revise the drawings as built on site at no extra cost.

Decision Phase requirement
Building Approval is a 4-part process.
- Building Phase
- Architectual drawings
- Engineering Form 15 (Soil Test Report)
- Title Search or Rates Notice + Registered Plan
- QBCC home warranty, Insurance or Owner Builder Permit.
- Plumbing Application where feasible lodge with local council.
- Energy Efficiency Report – Private certifier can lodge on your behalf or seek individual assessors.
- Collate above 3 processes to assist or lodge to private certifier.
